Learn to play Acoustic Guitar question?

I am 16 years old, my name is Chelsea and I really want to learn the butterfly flying in one Acoustic guitar. I am a singer and a song so pretty. Two problems: I have a guitar, and I know how to play. I'd do a contest Miss Teen New Jersey Until January 16 .. think its possible to learn? And what are usually to the sound? And what about a guitar off eBay? I found housing, but says its like 30 $ .. I do not know if thats too cheap or not .. I am not educated in the price of acoustics and other things. In addition, 10 pts if you go on eBay and I found a guitar that you think is effective:) I think between $ 100 - $ 200 budget. Thank you!

With few hundred dollars budget, I think it would be a better idea to consult some of their local music stores. It is likely that they will have some instruments quite good in this price range and you have someone with a possible return if you are not satisfied with your purchase. They could also lead to get some lessons. If you focus in a particular song, you can learn by the time frame mentioned. But the plan to spend much more time to really learn and understand the guitar.
