Addario Strings
I change electric guitar strings (D'Addario 10-46 to 9-46), there will be no signifcant DIF?
The 9-46 has the same size at the top but the bottom is 10-13-17 to 9-11-16 ... there are significant differences in the sound or something else?
I am not sure, but I only be a slight difference in tone and if the string is much thinner than it will be very loose and if it is much thicker than what you used before it is really difficult bending the neck of the guitar. If only some of the strings are thicker, the chains could complement or you could twist the neck of the guitar. If all are thicker, which could bend the neck of the guitar strings will be farther from the fretboard around the 12th fret than they are about to start. I hope this helps.
